The FEI Tecnai T12 is mainly used for simple screening and data collection of negatively-stained samples. It's also used for cryo-EM training and screening of vitrified grids.
It operates at 120kV with a LaB6 filament and is equipped with a Gatan UltraScan 895 4k CCD.
