The W.M. Keck Foundation Advanced Microscopy Laboratory is located at the Mission Bay Campus of the University of California at San Francisco. This state-of-the-art facility provides access to high-end electron microscopy for imaging biological samples at near-atomic resolution under cryo conditions.
The Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases is located in the Sandler Neurosciences Center on the Mission Bay campus of the University of California San Francisco. The overarching goal of the IND is to develop drugs that stop prion accumulation and thus halt neurodegeneration.
